Trusted Service Partners host the PAT component responsible for orchestrating the execution of mobile person to person and person to merchant transactions. All communication between the PAT system components, including financial institutions, merchants and CPNI, are routed through Trusted Service Partners. This approach provides a single point of contact for each financial institution, ensuring the use of effective security, while providing the benefits of an open network.

Trusted Service Partners can also contribute by:

  • Leveraging their existing relationships with financial institutions for recruitment to the PAT network.
  • Providing integration services to attach the PAT network to the bank’s core banking systems.
  • Providing bank user support as needed.

Benefits include:

  • Significant new incremental revenue opportunity. Trusted Service Partners receive a fee for providing the transaction message routing and other services.
  • Puts the Trusted Service Partner at the “center of the mobile universe” in its relationships with financial institutions.
  • Further establishes the Trusted Service Partner as a leading provider of innovative new services to financial institutions.
